Mugs are a classic product for promotions, but with a versatility that is often under-estimated. There are so many mug shapes, so many methods to apply branding, and so many print areas, the permutations are virtually endless!
When promotional mugs are mentioned, the image that springs initially to mind is of a classic Cambridge or Sparta mug, with a logo printed on one side. This is a great budget option, but if you’re looking for something more dynamic, why not choose a modern and eye-catching shape? Latte mugs are larger than the average mug with a great print area, marquee mugs convey an elegant impression, or the quadra mug has a quirky square shape.
If you want a bright and eye-catching image, your mug can be personalised using the dye sublimation method. This allows a vibrant full colour image to be applied, to really showcase your logo and contact details.
Whether it’s a logo or a full colour photograph, your chosen design can be applied as a full wraparound on many mugs. Seen from all sides, brand exposure is increased. The wraparound design also has an advantage in being suitable for both left and right handed users.
For even more novelty value, how about placing a logo inside the mug? This can be designed in conjunction with the outer design. Colour can also be printed onto the handle, to continue the branding.
Conversely, instead of considering the image, why not change the colour of the mug itself? Mugs come in more colours than white! Changing the background colour can complement your logo or image.
